Hyperchromic Effect on 2014 APEC Summit

  • Wednesday, November 12, 2014: 12:00am

The 2014 APEC Summit successfully concluded yesterday. This summit is another great event in the development process of China after its successful organization in Shanghai in 2001. NITA, adhering to the Green City ideal for years and cherishing the international creative concept, undertakes the landscape update work of APEC main venue in Yanqi Island. The design program combines main buildings in Tang and Han style, and proposes the design strategy of international, colorful and sustainable ecological environment. The main plaza has a stripped flower field which is representative of a rainbow, a collection of colors, like the collection of International Dignitaries and the wide range of leaders from the Asia Pacific region. The Holland featured flower field with Chinese characteristics well interprets APEC theme of jointly establishing Asia-Pacific Partnership in the near future, wining high recognition and praise from domestic and international heads and guests.
